We’ve been told this year will be a cold winter with a high possibility of snow. If you’re anything like me, you love to enjoy snow from the window of a warm and cozy home. Perhaps it forces you to rest inside for a while and spend time with your family. Why not stream your favorite show or watch that movie you’ve been waiting to see. All is best enjoyed with a thankful heart for the gifts and blessings of love surrounding us everyday.

This Christmas, JoyLife SPA is sharing that love with our area homeless youth. Our backpack drive, in partnership with Stanford Up for Kids DC, is set to bring comfort and security to children experiencing winter from the other side of our home windows. Homeless children often travel from couch to couch and sometimes live on the street with little, if any, shelter from the cold. We can help! We will help, and we invite you to join us in our Homeless Youth Backpack campaign.

Our backpacks consist of quality hats, scarves, gloves, hand warmers, socks, toiletries, menstrual supplies, wipes, soap, lotion, and grocery gift cards. We hope to save as many youth from the cold this Winter as possible. For now, the goal is 25 filled backpacks.
